installed his Gulf Coast Filter in March of 2004 when his engine had 259,000
miles. This engine has now run 865,000 miles with only 4 oil changes in
600,000 miles. Why the 4 oil changes. Gulf Coast Filters had called Joel
with high copper from an oil cooler and later from other items such as a bad
turbo. Anytime we find a problem the first thing we do is change the oil
and find and fix the problem. Joel and his wife run team and by this time
next year this engine will have well over 1 Million Miles without an
overhaul and still running on the original rod and main bearings. Joel
comments, “I could not be happier, the Gulf Coast Filter did everything they
told me it would and then some. The people at Gulf Coast Filters make it
even better, what started out as a business relationship has now turned into
a lasting friendship. I took the photos below during the Truckers Jamboree
in Walcott, IA. At my own expense my wife and I took my truck to the event
and I pulled a valve cover to show people just how clean an engine can be
after running 600,000 miles with this system.” |
